David Parker LL.B


David commenced work with Edmonds Marshall in 1998 and became a partner in 2006.

David works mainly in the areas of property law (rural, commercial and residential), relationship property matters, succession planning, trusts, estates, elder law and employment law.

David lives locally and is a member of Rotary Matamata.

Jamie Rae LL.B


Jamie joined the firm in 2013, becoming a Partner in 2016.  In that time he has developed a large client base, providing assistance with property and conveyancing transactions, trusts, wills, estates and powers of attorney.

Historically, Jamie has worked as a specialist family lawyer and is experienced in the area of relationship property.  His expertise have also been recognised through inclusion on the approved list of lawyers who represent children in Family Court litigation.

Jamie lives locally in Matamata and his three young children all attend Matamata Primary.  He is also the current Vice President of the Matamata Golf Club.

Kylie Munro-Cross LL.B


Kylie has worked for Edmonds Marshall since August 2006. In 2011 Kylie obtained her Legal Executive Diploma. In 2020 Kylie graduated from Waikato University with her LL.B.

Kylie focuses on rural and commercial property law and subdivision matters.

Kurt Edmonds LL.B (Hons), B.Com


Kurt is originally from Auckland and graduated from Auckland University with both a Law degree (1976) and a Commerce degree (1975). He worked for a firm of chartered accountants in Auckland whilst studying, then moved to Matamata to join the firm (then Edmonds, Wilson Marshall & Co) and has been with the partnership since 1976. He retired as a partner in 2020.

Kurt works mainly in the areas of property law (rural & commercial), succession planning, trusts, estates and elder law.

Richard Rae

Senior Solicitor

Richard joined the firm in 2021 after operating his own legal firm in the Waikato for many years. He works mainly in the areas of property and commercial law, trusts, estates and elder law.

Richard lives in Hamilton and is available to meet with clients there if required.

Richard Brown LL.B (Hons)


Richard is a solicitor with a focus towards property, conveyancing, wills, estates, trusts and powers of attorney matters.

In 2014, Richard graduated from Waikato University with a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours. Since then, he has worked for several reputable law firms and for a specialist Immigration Law Firm where he handled a wide range of Immigration and Employment matters.

Richard is committed to working closely with clients to achieve their desired outcomes by providing practical and sound legal advice.
